FrozEncanto Summer Camp 2023: When I Grow Up!

For those who are unfamiliar with our magical camp, it is run by the Fairy community! In 2020, there was a shortage of certified princesses, so Fairy Godmother Jade and her fairy team put this camp together to train and certify little princesses. We have been hosting this camp every year since to continue training new princesses and also as continuing education for our veteran princesses from past camps. In the last few years we have taught them about self love/self care, etiquette & manners, cultural learning, geography, event planning, decision making, and teamwork. This year, we will be teaching them about all the exciting different paths they can take when they grow up! 

A true princess can be anything she wants to be! No dream is too big! Our Frozen and Encanto friends will be teaching our campers about different job/career options each day. Along with them, our fairies will also be educating the little royals about their occupations too! For example, as the head of the organization, Fairy Godmother Jade will be dressed to impress as a CEO. The other fairies will hold the following titles & be dressed accordingly (and in pink of course!): astronaut, doctor, chef, and pilot! We’ll ensure that your little one understands the value she brings into the world and that she can do anything she sets her heart and mind to do! 

Monday: Art Day with Mirabel

★9:00am – Meet & Greet & Ice Breaker/Affirmations & Warm Ups

• Meeting a lot of potential new friends at once can be overwhelming, so it is important to make sure all the children have a chance to get comfortable. We will be breaking the ice with a Jumbo Jenga Style Questions Game!
• We will kick off each morning from this day on with a moment of self reflection and positive affirmations in order to start the day with the right mindset and attitude! Then once our minds and hearts are ready we will also get our bodies ready with fun stretching & dancing warmups!

★10:00am – Canvas Painting

• Today we will be exploring the world of art! We will be painting an enchanting butterfly on canvas with Mirabel’s step-by-step guidance! Set up with easels and aprons, your little one will feel like a true artist!

 ★10:45am – Casita Craft

• Next, the campers will be utilizing various craft supplies to create their very own Casita!

★11:15am – Lunch  

• The children will be led to wash their hands and grab their lunchboxes/water bottles to fuel up and replenish their energy!

★12:00pm – Rehearsal 

• At the end of the week, the campers will have a special performance at the grand finale of the FrozEncanto Show! So we will be dedicating a little bit of time each day to rehearse the choreography.

★ 12:30pm- Journal Entry

• At the end of every camp day, we will spend some time coloring and writing about the day’s experience in personalized FrozEncanto journals. At the end of the week, the sweet campers will take them home to always be able to look back on their magical summer camp!

★ 12:45pm- Dance Party & Socializing

• For the final 15 minutes of our camp day, we will just let loose and have fun! We will be having a dance party with colorful streamers and dancing scarves, playing freeze dance, enjoying conga lines, skipping in dance circles, and more! 

★1:00pm – Pick up time!

  Tuesday: Fashion Show Day with Anna

★9:00am – Affirmations & Warm Ups

• We will kick off each morning from this day on with a moment of self reflection and positive affirmations in order to start the day with the right mindset and attitude! Then once our minds and hearts are ready we will also get our bodies ready with fun stretching & dancing warmups!

★9:30am – Fashion Show Frenzie!

• Today we are taking a deep dive into the fashion industry! Styling, modeling, makeup artistry- oh my! Once we’re all warmed up and ready to roll, the campers will be producing their very own Fashion Show! Make sure your little fashionista wears her favorite outfit on this day! They will be accessorizing and getting their makeup done just how they like. Once the little divas are all set, they will be taught how to do the runway walk and how to pose. After their intensive modeling training, they will each have their moment to own the stage!

★10:30am – Karaoke Party!

• The little princesses will be jamming out to all their favorite songs at the top of their lungs! Woooohoo! Surely some of our campers will grow up to be skilled vocalists!

★11:15am – Lunch (Yum!)

• The children will be led to wash their hands and grab their lunchboxes/water bottles to fuel up and replenish their energy!

★12:00pm – Rehearsal 

• At the end of the week, the campers will have a special performance at the grand finale of the FrozEncanto Show! So we will be dedicating a little bit of time each day to rehearse the choreography.

Wednesday: Science Lab Day with Bruno the Mad Scientist

★9:00am – Affirmations & Warm Ups

★9:30am – Science Experiments

• Today, our campers are scientists! Bruno, the “mad scientist”, will be explaining the importance of scientific skills and will be demonstrating a  volcano eruption! (Did you know Colombia has over 20 volcanoes?) Our science lab will be set up in stations where our little scientists will be conducting various kinds of experiments. The stations will include: microscope observations, skittles experiment (tasty!), color changing potions, and the mysteries of Oobleck!  Donned with lab coats and goggles, your child prodigy will feel like a true science wiz!

★10:30am – Slime Time!

• The mini lab technicians will all be seated for an experiment they can do simultaneously: making slime! They’ll be experimenting with color, textures, and even fragrances!

★11:15am – Lunch (Yum!)

• The children will be led to wash their hands and grab their lunchboxes/water bottles to fuel up and replenish their energy!

• On this day, our little professionals will be learning about the beauty/wellness service industry! Isabela will be teaching the little campers about the importance of self-care and self-love and how to pamper themselves and others. They will be receiving a full scale pampering session complete with adorable robes & headbands, facials, rose petal infused foot baths, manis & pedis, hand & foot massages, and aromatherapy. They’ll even have a cozy spa lounge which includes yummy treats to nibble on, cucumber infused water, lemon/lime infused water, and socializing activities. So fun!

 Friday: Carnival Day with Elsa

★9:30am – Carnival Day!

• In the spirit of celebrating the final day of camp, we’re going “big” with a mini carnival hosted by Elsa, the ringleader! She will be guiding the children through the incredible world of carnivals/circuses!  The little royals will enjoy a bounce house, ball pit, temporary tattoos, balloon twisting, carnival games, snacks, prizes, and more!

★ Lunch will be provided today 

• Today’s lunch will be provided and will be served during the carnival time. They’ll be enjoying hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and ice cream in true carnival fashion! mmmmm….

★12:00pm – Rehearsal

• At the end of the week, the campers will have a special performance at the grand finale of the FrozEncanto Show! So we will be dedicating a little bit of time each day to rehearse the choreography.

 ★12:30pm – Journal Entry

** The FrozEncanto Interactive Show will take place on Saturday, July 22nd from 11am – 1pm. The doors will open at 11am and you’ll be able to purchase concessions and find your seats. The show will begin at 11:30 and will lead you through a magical adventure about talents, gifts, and discovering your passion! After the show, we will conduct a coronation ceremony to honor our little princesses, take photos, say our farewells, and officially close our camp for the summer*
